Man thrown from car and seriously injured after crash in Maine

A 37-year-old man was seriously injured Monday morning after being ejected from his car following a two-vehicle crash on I-295 in Portland.

Driver thrown from vehicle after collision

Portland police said the man was driving an Infiniti G25 when he rear-ended a Honda Civic driven by a 52-year-old woman. Names were not released.

Man seriously injured and woman had minor injuries

The male driver was seriously injured and taken to Maine Medical Center. The female driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Northern Light Mercy Hospital.
