Isolated storms are expected in New Jersey late Tuesday through Wednesday morning

PREDICTION: The fog will lift quickly this morning, but will feel smooth with higher humidity. Warm weather and sunshine are expected today with highs around 81.

An ocean breeze will keep coastal areas cooler, in the mid 70s and even upper 60s later in the afternoon.

Clouds will build later tonight and tomorrow morning, with thunderstorms expected between 5am and 8am

There is a chance that one or two isolated storms could be severe as they move through New Jersey with winds exceeding 60 miles per hour.


TOMORROW: On average, typical wind speeds with storms tomorrow morning will be between 40 and 60 mph. These storms will pass quickly, giving way to a hot afternoon with highs reaching near 85 degrees in some places.

Cumulative clouds will develop late Wednesday night through Thursday, where conditions will remain variable throughout the day.


THURSDAY: Humid and cooler with highs in the mid 70s and 60s. A line of thunderstorms cuts through NJ after sunset around 8 p.m. The storms will clear overnight, but scattered showers are likely to continue through Friday.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with the latest trends in the forecast.

WEEKEND: Saturday still looks sunny, and so does most of Sunday. However, a few showers may still fall late on Sunday.
