Meridiam and Conrac win RNO contract

Meridiam and Conrac Solutions (CS) will partner with the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) to develop a new Ground Transportation Center (GTC) at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

The $299 million, privately funded development includes a Center for Ground Transport And Consolidated Rent-A-Car facility as part of the MoreRNO infrastructure program. This is the first project since the takeover of CS by sustainable infrastructure manager Meridiam in May 2023.

The new facility will be energy efficient and suitable for electric vehicles in the future, contributing to a lower overall carbon footprint for the airport. It also includes covered pedestrian access from the terminal and increases parking capacity in the airport garage by relocating rental car fleets.

“We are proud of this unprecedented public-private partnership with Meridiam And Conrac Solutions,” said Daren Griffinchairman and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority.

“This partnership represents a significant investment from the private sector and marks a historic moment for our region. “We strive to provide our passengers with an exceptional travel experience while maintaining the ease and convenience they deserve. Conrac Solutions’ proven track record of developing innovative ConRAC facilities aligns with our vision to revolutionize ground transportation at RNO.”
